History of the Memory Lab:

In Summer of 2020, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced recipients of the inaugural Accelerating Promising Practices for Small Libraries Grant Program. The Lakeview Community Library was awarded $36,885 over the course of two years to create the Random Memories: Empowering Individual and Community Memory project. This project implemented digitization services alongside a rich and dynamic set of community engagement activities for our community. The project was set to start in Fall of 2020, but had been post-poned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services Grant Number APP-246090-OLS-20.

Este proyecto ha sido posible en parte por el Instituto de Servicios de Museos y Bibliotecas concesión número APP-246090-OLS-20.
